markViewer Open Source Project
markVewierThe markViewer Open Source Project was announced in conjunction with the start of development of markViewer 2.0 on June 2nd, 2007. The project is community and Host Mechanics driven and will produce an open source version of markViewer that will form the core of all other markViewer products.
markViewer is an online mark reporting system that allows teachers to post reports from Asylum’s MarkBook grade book program to the Internet so parents and students can check up on course progress over the at any time. With this change in direction we are hoping to take the this web base application to the next level, with direct input from the teachers, students, and parents that will be using the application.
